The fourth EULAR course in Diagnostic Laboratory Testing
in conjunction with AutoCure
Hopital Edouard Herriot, Lyon, September 4-6, 2008
Welcome to Lyon!
The fourth EULAR course is intended to bring European rheumatologists
in training closer to today’s and tomorrow’s diagnostic and
prognostic laboratory techniques.
The meeting is primarily intended to be a practical workshop, and after
three intensive days in our laboratory you will have a hands-on feeling
for both traditional and frontline laboratory techniques. This field is
becoming increasingly important with the increasing rate of introduction
of new laboratory tests.
The mixed research unit of the Edouard Herriot Hospital in Lyon is a dynamic
environment combining basic high-tech biomedical and clinical research
under the same roof. We hope that this environment also will facilitate
the exchange of ideas and views between rheumatologists and clinical immunologists.
There are opportunities for bursaries for this course:
There are EULAR bursaries, covering the course fee. For instructions concerning
how to apply, please look at the EULAR website (www.eular.org). There
are also Autocure bursaries for Autocure members covering the full course
fee. For instructions
concerning this possibility, please visit the Autocure website (www.autocure.org
)
Again welcome to Lyon
