Autocure

International call for a partnership with an SME in research on

autoimmunity (Life Sciences).

The Karolinska Institute (Sweden) is the Coordinator of the integrated research project Autocure financed by the European Commission. We have a vacancy in our consortium for an SME partner (a small or medium sized enterprise) established in a Member State of the EU or in a state associated with the 6th Framework Programme. This SME should have comprehensive expertise for the following research programme:

1) Discovery of new CD4+ T cell epitopes in the area of rheumatoid arthritis and other rheumatoid inflammatory autoimmune diseases including correct identification of their allelic restriction, especially by means of Class II MHC-peptide binding assays that cover a significant part of the wider population.

2) Design of HLA Class II multimers based on existing and newly discovered epitopes from the project for detection, analysis, and monitoring of effector and regulatory T cells specific for rheumatoid diseases.

The selected company will be a full participant in the project in accordance with the regulations of the EC 6th Framework Programme. Information on the project and our call are available at www.autocure.org. For companies interested in our proposal, please send your application to:
